Sarawak is the biggest state of Malaysia. It is a state rich with natural wonders and multi-cultural society. It is attracting a large crowd of visitors who enjoy the eco-tourism. It has plenty to offer, with unique habitats like the orang utan and the proboscis monkey.
The state is mostly covered with natural jungle. As such, it is not surprising that it is well known for the national park, and one of the earlier park is the mulu national park.

The Location
Mulu Caves are located in the Muru National Park, a short flight away from the town of Miri.

The Parks
The park is the largest in Malaysia. It covers a very large area of about 53,000 hectares, and there are three mountain with the boundary of the park, Gunung Mulu (2,376 m), Gunung Api (1,750 m) and Gunung Benarat (1,585 m). Yet many of Mulu's attractions lie deep below the surface, i.e within the hidden caves, securely hidden underneath within the forested slopes of these mountains.
The Caves
The caves systems consist of many different caves. You have the world's largest cave passage (Deer Cave), the world's largest natural chamber (Sarawak Chamber), and the longest cave in Southeast Asia (Clearwater Cave).
With these caves, it is no wonder that mulu has became a center of attractive for caves lovers from all over the world.
