Now visiting Pangkor is made easier with the air service from subang airport. Berjaya air is flying to the island 3 times per week, on wednesday friday and sunday. Due to the shorter runway, only the smaller propeller aircrafts can land. Currently, Berjaya operates 3 Dash 7 aircrafts and 2 ATR 72 .
LUMUT Festival
It had been about 20 years the festival had stopped. The state tourism department is reviving what used to be a weekend event. This weekend 10 and 11 Dec 2011, the festivals will be held on the island of Pangkor and renamed the Beach Festival of Pangkor or locally called Festa Laut Pangkor.
The events is about sand, sea and water. Various sporting and cultural events are held for the visitors.
