balik pulau penang

This was the first time a state event was held at balik pulau, penang. It was held on sunday 6 feb 2011, to celebrate the chinese new year. Thousand of people, both local penang people as well as from the mainland came for the festival.

Among the popular highlights were:

1. Free buffet dinner for all.

2. coloring and drawing competition for the children

3. Open singing contest

4. 3 stages set up for performance.

5. street performance of wushu, drums, dragon dances and acrobatic performance.

There was also the group Shandong and Beijing.
