Caring for the Corals

I read with interest the writing of Natalie Heng in the Malaysia Local paper. I think it is a commendable efforts by a group of so called eco - divers, taking their time off from the busy life, trying to help our coral heritage to grow better.

We had been reading the story since last year about the corals were bleaching and discolor. Varies theories and reasons were quoted as the cause, but not many will put the effort to really do some research and find a solution.

So when these young divers from the KPMG came to Tioman, they were coming with a mission. Their task is to conduct an underwater survey on the status of the corals life.

Tioman is a destination of diving. Without corals, there is no marine life. Without them, there will be no attraction for the tourists. That will affect the local industry and the income.
