Cascading Lata Kinjang

If you are driving to the north, you can see clearly the Lata Kinjang water falls on the hill at your right. The area is surrounded by green tropical jungle and is accessible via the Tapah exit. You can follow the road sign towards Chenderiang.

Due to the steep rock and the slippery nature of it, visitors are being reminded NOT to climb the rock and limit your activities in the pool below. There were cases of fatal falls.
Now the Lata Kinjang is better developed. There is access road built to facilitate the visitors to reach the waterfall. Facilities like the public toilets and stalls had been built and maintained. The local handicrafts are on sale, so tourist can get the chance to buy the orang asli's crafts.

On the weekend the spot will be flooded with visitors. There are not many on the weekdays, so most of the stalls are only opened on the weekends.

...from the news...

Visitors today will find the popular picnic spot with its series of impressive cascades that drop from a height of 850m, a cleaner and more pleasant place for an outing.

Cool falls: Visitors playing in a pool at an upper section of Lata Kinjang.

The site has undergone a sprucing up since it was managed by the Forestry Department.
